ATELIER CRENN, San Francisco (from spring 2027)

In her "Atelier" in the Cow Hollow neighborhood, Dominique Crenn has created a distinctive culinary style that blends her Breton heritage with her adopted home of California – in 2018, she became the first Frenchwoman in the US to be awarded three Michelin stars and was honored with the James Beard Award. The purely pescatarian menu, complemented by produce from the restaurant's own Bleu Belle Farm in Sonoma and a brioche made from her grandmother's recipe, finds its counterpart in a wine list of over 3,000 bottles: Wine Director Rachel Coe places the focus on California, complemented by Burgundy, Champagne, and Italy – recognized with Wine Spectator's Best of Award of Excellence. Atelier Crenn also ranks among the World's 50 Best Restaurants.
