7th of September 2024: GG Release – tasting and an evening with Matthias Gfrörer in Bodenheim

After last year's wonderful event, we have decided to make a series out of it.

On September 7th, you will be able to taste our rare Grosse Gewächse at the winery and buy them in limited quantities on this day only.

In addition, there will of course also be a selection of our other current wines and our exciting new sparkling wines from the new vintage to taste.


Stephan Reinhardt writes in the FAZ about the 2023 vintage:

"Based on initial impressions, this vintage has produced wines that are so good that they could act as a reference for years to come."


The afternoon and evening should take place in a relaxed atmosphere and be a day among friends. We are delighted that Rebecca and Matthias will be traveling especially for this day and will support us with their warmth and great hospitality.

There will be no set menu, but there will always be little things from the kitchen that you can bring to your table. Rebecca and I will select the appropriate wines and you can be sure that there will also be a few rarities from big bottles.


Matthias and Rebecca have been awarded with the green Michelin star.

He is known from various television appearances and regularly cooks recipes for gourmets. His cuisine focuses on smart vegetarian dishes with vegetables from his own organic farm, supplemented with meat and fish.

"Together with his wife Rebecca (herself a sommelier), he has worked in restaurants in Berlin, New York and Dubai and experienced the cuisine of these countries at first hand - these impulses are now also reflected in their own restaurant.

From 16:00, during a table presentation, hopefully again in the garden, we will introduce you to our Riesling and Pinot Noir Grosse Gewächse as well as the current vintage.

This will be followed by a relaxed evening among friends in our vinotheque with food prepared by Matthias Gfrörer.
